Installing Stockist Store Locator on WordPress

To set up your Stockist store locator on a WordPress site, follow these simple steps:

1. If you haven't yet, sign up for a Stockist account on our registration page.
2. On the Stockist dashboard, open Installation > Embed code.

3. Click in the grey code box to select all of the code, then right-click and select Copy.

   

4. Open your WordPress Admin page, then in the left menu select Pages > Add New.

   

The next steps depend on whether your WordPress site is using the original page editor or the new editor.

Original editor

1. Select the Text tab at the top-right of the editor.

   

2. Paste the code you copied in step 2 into the editor.

   

3. Add any other details (e.g. a page title), then click Save Draft to save the page.

New editor

1. Click the Plus (+) icon in the top left to add a new block to the page

   

2. Add a Custom HTML block to the page

   

3. Paste in the Stockist embed code into the "HTML" tab of the block:

   

4. Add any other content or blocks to the page, then click Save draft to save the page

Once these steps are complete, you'll have a new page on your WordPress site that should display your Stockist store locator. You can click Preview to double-check that things are working, and then once you're ready click Publish to make the new page live on your WordPress site.
