How do I cancel my Stockist subscription?

Otherwise, you can close your account with the steps below:

Shopify-linked accounts

If you installed Stockist from the Shopify App Store, your Stockist account is linked to Shopify.

If you’re not sure if this applies to you, check the Account page of your Stockist dashboard. If your account was created through Shopify, the billing details section will indicate this:

For Shopify-linked accounts, you can cancel your subscription by uninstalling Stockist from your Shopify back-end. The steps for this are:

  1. Open your Shopify admin
  2. Click Settings in the left menu, then Apps and sales channels
  3. Find Stockist Store Locator in the list, click the three dots next to it (...), then click Uninstall:

  4. Confirm the prompt with the red Delete button to uninstall Stockist:

Once uninstalled, your account will be closed and your subscription will be cancelled automatically.

If you'd like to remove the map page from your site, you can simply delete the Store Locator page created by the app under Online Store > Pages in Shopify. No changes are made to your theme code during installation, so there's no extra code to remove.

Direct accounts (billed via credit/bank card)

If you signed up directly with Stockist by adding a credit card, you can cancel your service through the dashboard.  From the Account page of the dashboard, scroll to the bottom and click Close account:

On the next page, confirm your choice by clicking Yes, close my account:

You should see a confirmation message that your subscription was canceled. If you'd like to reinstate your service in the future, please get in touch and we're happy to assist with this.
